RMR StreamJet Series are down-river boards that utilize padded, deck-mounted stiffeners to create a curved-bottom design and to stiffen the board. The inspiration for these craft was that of the Kayak "Playboat" and the performance of the boards lives up to this challenge. 2008 StreamJet deck stiffeners are flush mounted on the back "fins" to expose the foam for a comfortable ride - on the front of the board, the stiffeners interface the classic RMR dashboard. The deck has a single grooved channel called the "body shack" for rider positioning and comfort. The deck also features arm/elbow indents designed to provide an ergonomic arm position as well as stability.

RMR RescueHooks can be added to either of the StreamJet Boards. The RescueHook is an oval shaped climbing bolt recess-mounted in the nose of the craft. The Deck of the board is made of a single piece of ultra-buoyant, high-density, durable polyethylene foam (originally developed for military casing applications). The deck serves as a cushion to the rider as well as providing buoyancy. The shape of the RMR Boards is designed to "carve" through turns and allows the riders arms full motion through swim-strokes while boarding. The deck has a single grooved channel called the "body shack" for rider positioning and comfort. The deck also features arm/elbow indents designed to provide an ergonomic arm position as well as stability. Deck plastic is constructed of beveled ABS plastic custom fitted to the design of each board.
The Rock-Shield is constructed of a single beveled sheet of almost indestructible ABS plastic for protection against the sharpest of jagged boulders.
The Handles are constructed of a custom-manufactured aluminum "strap stay" and 1" nylon webbing material for long-lasting durability and high tensile strength. Handles are positioned ergonomically on both the aft and middle section to provide the rider several ways to hold onto the RiverBoard.
The Hardware Interface that keeps the entire Deck, Rock-Shield, and Handle system together consists of bolts that traverse the entire width of the system and plated nuts, washers and custom TEE nuts.
