RMR RescueBoards are designed for swiftwater and ice-rescue operations and have been developed in conjunction with three Colorado Swiftwater and Fire-Protection Rescue Crews input over a three year period.  2008 marks the release of the board after several prototype and design renditions!These 2" thick foam boards have a "Shark-Head" shape for extra space (30" wide) on the board to accommodate a Rescuer and Victim.  Both Boards utilize a double-handled forward design to allow the Rescuer and Victim exceptional handholds during rescue operations.  The Deck Stiffeners are cut from a single piece of beveled ABS plastic, making an incredibly sleek appearance.  While designed for Rescue applications, the board is super stable and can be used by any Boarder for downriver or surfing excitement!  RescueBoards are made to order - allow 2 weeks for delivery.

RMR IcePick Rescue features two forward mounted RMR RescueHooks and one rear mounted hook for roping and extraction maneuvers.  The RescueHooks are backed and pinioned in the front with an additional aluminum plate to provide extra durability.  The IcePick utilizes 1/4" bottom and top plastic for rigidity while pulling victim or rescuer onto an ice shelf.  The additional rear-mounted RMR RescueHook can be used for a number of applications including "belay" of the Rescuer to the victim or to pull the board back into the water to extract the Rescuer.
