About RMR

Rocky Mountain RiverBoards was formed in 2004 by two adventurous Coloradans seeking new thrills on the whitewater of Colorado!  Darryl Brown and Rick Leitner have taken their ideas and designs through many prototypes to the present day RMR production products.  The sport of RiverBoarding in North America is just now beginning to come into its own and our philosophy is that designs of RiverBoards need to be creative and continue to evolve.  Rocky Mountain RiverBoards tests, designs, and builds, its RiverBoards to excel in design, craftsmanship, and performance.  We are here to serve RiverBoarders!

RMR! I can't wait to see the new design! You guys are keeping a tight lid on it!  I was just about to order a new board - the RMR in the photo is borrowed from a friend and I checked your site and saw that a new model is on the way, so I waited. I love your boards - tough as nails. I would face any challenge on an RMR!

Rocky Mountain Riverboard at the USNWC:  "I have been boarding many times and absolutely love my board- a couple of the other guides have your boards as well and a couple more have recently purchased one.  Honestly I have even tried another board at the center (because I was letting my brother try mine out) and I doesn't even come close to the Rocky Mountain Board.  It surfs like a champ and is extremely durable!"

"Your boards are awesome! I really enjoyed the chance to ride them...Over the past two years I have ridden Morey, Carlson, Rip, ocean boogies, and now RMR.  I definitely think yours are the best constructed and most versatile. I am completely impressed with your boards! RiverBoarding will evolve with you two at the forefront! Thanks men, for working so hard on making great boards."

"Hey RMR, Can't thank ya enough for the awesome product you guys are constructing. Since the Yampa River Fest I've been getting out on the water as much as possible on the riverboard and it's been a blast. My time on the river was really lacking in recent years due to an injury that took me away from kayaking. Needless to say, the riverboard has filled a void and rekindled my love of whitewater. I've been surfing like crazy in C hole and fine tuning the feel for the board. A really solid product that I can tell will last for many river miles. Thanks Rick for being so enthusiastic about your product, hooking me up with some fins, and getting my arse back on the river. I've been spreading the word. All the best!"
